Medford Treatment Center is seeking a CADC R, I, II, or III Counselor to provide compassionate care to our clients.

Hiring Bonus $10,000 paid out in increments ($2500 at time of hire)

Eligible for a 4-day work week after 90 days of employment. Treatment Center schedules include 8 hour/ 5 day work week or 10 hour/ 4 day work week schedule, both with some Saturdays.

Medford Treatment Center is an adult outpatient opioid treatment program/substance abuse treatment provider focused on treating those suffering from an addiction to opioids (pain pills, heroin, morphine, etc.) through a combination of Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) with either methadone or buprenorphine/suboxone, detoxification, and intensive one-on-one and group counseling, all in an outpatient setting.

Our treatment center hours are: 5:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m. M-F and 6:00a.m. - 10:00 a.m. on rotating Saturdays.

What does your day look like?

  • You will be assisting opioid addicted clients in identifying, maximizing, and relating their strengths to appropriate social, educational (academic and vocational), and occupational goals.
  • Helping the clients prepare and adjust to a drug free existence, and to offer assistance (emotional and physical) in problematic issues.
  • Responsible for provision of services to assigned clients and adherence to schedules, established program policies and procedures, and applicable federal, state, local and accrediting agency regulatory requirements.
  • Perform duties within the scope of their license or certification.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Licensure and degree. Oregon CADC R, I, II, or III.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Meet state requirements for employment in an opioid treatment program.
  • We follow federal guidelines regarding prohibited substances, even those legal at the state level.

ORTC is an apprenticeship site for United We Heal (UWH). United We Heal works with behavioral health professionals and behavioral health employers to collectively develop robust, industry-specific training opportunities for individuals pursuing QMHA, CADC or Medical Assistant certification. While engaged in the apprenticeship, the individual will receive supervision and on-the-job training from ORTC. Participants in the apprenticeship program will not have any cost for the training. Along with receiving completely free education and paid training, individuals in the program also receive additional financial stipends and support based on individual need.
