Medford Treatment Center has an immediate opening for a Clinical Supervisor to provide compassionate care to our clients.

Hiring Bonus $15,000 paid out in increments. $2,500 at time of hire. Relocation assistance up to $5,000.

Clinical Supervisor schedule is an 8 hour/ 5 day work week with some Saturdays. Treatment Center hours are from 5 a.m. - 3 p.m. and Saturdays from 6 a.m. - 10 a.m.

Medford Treatment Center is an adult outpatient opioid treatment program/substance abuse treatment provider focused on treating those suffering from an addiction to opioids (pain pills, heroin, morphine, etc.) through a combination of Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) with either methadone or buprenorphine/suboxone, detoxification, and intensive one-on-one and group counseling, all in an outpatient setting.

Job Summary

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the clinical supervision of counselors/professionals in training, counselors/professionals requiring supervision by regulatory authorities, and/or counselors/professionals who are working towards their certification or licensure as well as providing guidance and assistance to the counseling team as needed. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for assisting patients in identifying, maximizing, and relating their strengths to appropriate social, educational (academic and vocational), and occupational goals. The Clinical Supervisor is also responsible for helping the patients prepare and adjust to a drug free existence, and to offer assistance (emotional and physical) in problematic issues. The Clinical Supervisor (if not the Program Director themselves) is responsible to the Program Director for provision of services to assigned patients and adherence to schedules, established treatment program policies and procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Minimum Requirements

The ideal candidate must comply with federal and state regulations regarding certification, licensure and degree of a Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor (CADC) II and QMHA and meet the qualifications listed below:


  • Five years of paid full-time experience in the field of substance use disorders counseling; or
  • A Bachelor's Degree and four years of paid full-time experience in the social services field, with a minimum of two years of direct substance use disorders counseling experience; or
  • A Master's Degree and three years of paid full-time experience in the social services field with a minimum of two years of direct substance use disorders counseling experience.
  • Has not committed, permitted, aided, or abetted the commission of an illegal act or unprofessional conduct as defined under ORS 443.004/0AR 407-007-0277
  • Must have a valid driver's license and meet the requirements for employment in an opioid treatment program.
