Springfield Treatment Center is an adult outpatient opioid treatment program/substance abuse treatment provider focused on treating those suffering from an addiction to opioids (pain pills, heroin, fentanyl, morphine, etc.) through a combination of Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) with either methadone or buprenorphine/suboxone, and intensive one-on-one and group counseling, all in an outpatient setting.

Our treatment center hours are M-F 5AM-3 PM and rotating Sat 6AM-11AM.


Job Summary

The Assistant Program Director assists the Program Director in the supervision of the daily operations of an opiate treatment program to include the direct supervision of the treatment center's staff members and, by extension, each treatment center's performance in the following key areas: operations, staffing, training, compliance, and customer service. These responsibilities include scheduling and direct supervision of the staff members, staff member training and professional development, the supervision of the delivery of treatment services, evaluation of the assigned client's progress in treatment, implementation of company policies and procedures, and adherence to state, federal and accrediting agency regulatory requirements. The Assistant Program Director will perform duties within the scope of their license or certification.


Minimum Requirements

The ideal candidate is a technically competent leader with significant experience in the substance abuse treatment services across economically and culturally diverse communities. Management experience should include responsibility for operations, compliance, safety, accreditation, and quality of care. The Assistant Program Director must hold a valid counseling license or certification of at least a CADC II, nursing license, or bachelor's degree in a related subject area from an accredited university. Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license.
